It provides a framework that an organization can follow, rather than establishing quality performance requirements. Teragéos is certified by AFNOR for ISO 9001 - certificate number N° 2005/25149.7.
AFPGA is the french association of geosynthetic producers and aims to promote the correct use of geosynthetics in France and engage in the continuous improvement of the business.
Asqual is the organisation responsible, as Notified Body, for the CE marking of Teragéos and its products. On top of that, several of the BontexGeo nonwoven geotextiles distributed by Teragéos are certified according to Asqual.
The French public railway network has a specified set of requirements to which geosynthetic products need to comply. Teragéos has obtained approvals for an extensive range of products that meet the specific requirements for use in railway applications.
Suez has specific approvals for geosynthetics used in their projects of landfills. Teragéos has obtained approvals for several products applicable for protection and drainage applications.
COPRO is the body responsible for providing BENOR certification for geotextile products. Through BontexGeo in Belgium, several nonwoven products have obtained Benor certification ensuring its high quality.
The french comité for geosynthetics is the French chapter of IGS and brings together industry, experts and scientists to develop the geosynthetic market and promote the correct use of geosynthetics, enabling more sustainable construction in France. It also organises technical seminars and fairs to bring everyone together and share experiences.
